Why choose a "microbrand"?
Late 2015, after about a year and a half of designing the Tusenö First series we were not only successfully funded through crowdfunding but we also became the most funded watch brand from Sweden ever.

This was made possible thanks to our incredible customers, or family as we chose to regard them as. This is also one of the big reasons why we wanted to start a micro brand. The community that Tusenö has created is amazing. The fact that we are able to follow our dreams and create watches from scratch is truly amazing. Now, a few years later we have shipped watches to more than 70 countries and the community is constantly growing.

As a micro brand we don’t have the luxury of huge budgets and large numbers of staff to move the company forward. We rely solely on a few people doing every step in the process. From the first drawing of a prototype to the final step of signing the certificate of authenticity before the watch is shipped out to its new owner. This means progress often is a bit slower but that we have total freedom to create exactly what we want, keep a high quality and make sure to add that extra personal touch for you – and that is what separate us from the rest.
When you join the Tusenö family you become a member of a small and exclusive group. To put this into perspective, in the entire existence of Tusenö we have sold fewer watches than Rolex does during one day. Don't get us wrong, Rolex does great watches and have a long history but the risk of meeting someone with the same watch as you is significantly smaller with a Tusenö than with a Rolex. And this is something that’s important for our customers and us. It’s not seldom that we hear “I get more compliments for my Tusenö than for my Rolex”. That’s the thing with micro brand watches, they are a conversation piece, and ours are especially good looking ones.
